Meet The Artist
Instead of working from a plan or pattern, I let my materials guide my creative process. As a self-taught contemporary sculptor, my work is a direct response to the raw textures, shapes, and weights of the elements I collect. Whether I am building a large-scale 3-D wall sculpture or shaping a wearable art belt buckle, the medium itself dictates the form, creating a truly organic connection between my hands and the art.
Operating out of New Orleans, Mosaic Bayou is where raw, fragmented pieces are intentionally transformed into unified, three-dimensional stories. I am fascinated by contrast—pairing smooth surfaces with jagged edges, and heavy structures with intricate details. Because every single component is selected and placed by hand, no two pieces can ever be replicated.
When I am not in the studio, you can find me showcasing my latest work at local Louisiana art festivals. I love meeting collectors in person, sharing the tactile experience of my art, and watching people discover the hidden details embedded within each mosaic surface.
